Appearing on the January 25 episode of SBS’s My Little Old Boy, Choi Ji-woo opened up about motherhood and her bond with Kim Tae-hee. The actress married a non-celebrity in 2018 and gave birth to her first daughter at the age of 46 in 2020.

During the broadcast, Choi shared, “I often ask Kim Tae-hee for parenting advice. She’s two years ahead of me in motherhood. We look into academies together, and our daughters even attend the same ballet classes.”

She added, “Sometimes she’ll say, ‘Sis, I bought this for my daughter, but it’s too small,’ and she passes things down to me.”
The discussion turned lighthearted when MC Shin Dong-yup commented on the public curiosity surrounding Kim Tae-hee’s children, saying, “If she’s Kim Tae-hee’s daughter, of course she’s going to be beautiful.” The couple—Kim Tae-hee and singer-actor Rain—got married in 2017 and have two daughters born in 2017 and 2019.

Speculation about the visuals of their children has been ongoing since their marriage, even sparking the creation of AI-generated “future child” images that drew praise for their striking features. Last year, Kim Tae-hee herself spoke about her daughters’ appearances on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, saying, “My first daughter has my eyes, and the rest is like her dad. The second has her dad’s eyes and the rest from me.”

When asked about her own daughter’s looks, Choi Ji-woo joked, “It might take some time for my daughter to catch up to her mom’s beauty. Let’s give it a few more years.”
As these two powerhouse moms bond over parenting, fans continue to marvel at the rare glimpse into their family lives—and the shared journey of raising daughters who, it seems, are already inheriting their star parents’ glow.
