Jung Si-hyun, who rose to fame through Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017, has made his first appearance at a queer film event, marking a significant step in his career as an LGBTQ+ actor.
The actor is attending the 15th Seoul International Pride Film Festival (SIPFF 2025), which began on November 6 and runs through November 12 at CGV Piccadilly 1958 in Jongno, Seoul.

Jung Si-hyun stars in the queer romance film “Tell Me That You Love Me”, produced by Rainbow Factory Bears Media. Directed by Kim Jo-kwang-soo, the film tells the story of two young men, Kyung-il and Kyung-ho, who meet through a secondhand camera transaction. Jung plays the charming lead character Kyung-il, exploring the nuances of fate and romance in the LGBTQ+ context.
The film was selected as a recommended feature in the “Korea Pride” section by programmer Kim Seung-hwan and has drawn attention for its heartfelt storytelling. During the festival, Jung Si-hyun will participate in stage greetings on November 8 and a Q&A session on November 10, offering fans the chance to engage directly with him.

The Seoul International Pride Film Festival celebrates LGBTQ+ pride and promotes visibility through cinema. This year, the festival is also hosting the annual assembly of the Asia-Pacific Pride Film Festivals Alliance, further emphasizing its role as a key cultural event in the region.
Jung Si-hyun has steadily built his career through web dramas, independent films, and musical projects. His appearance at SIPFF 2025 represents not only his debut in a queer film but also a significant milestone in his expanding career across multiple entertainment genres.
