After three years, Netflix’s One Piece live-action has returned with Season 2, introducing new characters from the Grand Line. Among them, Nico Robin quickly became one of the most talked-about figures.

Played by actress Lera Abova, Nico Robin impressed viewers with her striking visuals and mysterious aura. Although she only appears for about five minutes across eight episodes, her scenes quickly went viral on social media, with many fans saying she looks like she “stepped straight out of the manga.”

Robin also caught attention with her Flower-Flower Fruit ability, which allows her to sprout body parts anywhere to capture or defeat enemies. During her brief encounter with the Straw Hat Pirates aboard their ship, Robin confidently declares that she could easily defeat them in a matter of seconds.
With her formidable abilities, intelligence, and enigmatic aura, the character lives up to her 930 million Belly bounty in the world of One Piece . Many fans even consider her one of the most beautiful female characters in the series,

The casting of Lera Abova initially received mixed reactions when it was first announced. While some fans believed she perfectly resembled the manga character, others questioned whether her relatively limited acting experience would allow her to fully capture Robin’s complex personality.
Born in 1992, Lera Abova is a Russian-German actress who was born in Siberia before moving to Germany with her family at the age of 13. She reportedly had a difficult childhood adjusting to a new environment due to language barriers but eventually built a career through persistence and determination.

Abova first entered the fashion industry after being discovered by renowned British photographer David Sims in 2016. Within just two years, she appeared in numerous fashion campaigns. Her transition into acting followed soon after, with roles in projects such as Anna , the German spinoff of Pitch Perfect , and most recently the highly anticipated One Piece Season 2.
With her brief but memorable debut, Nico Robin has already become one of the highlights of One Piece Season 2.
