After holding auditions to find her one true love, a popular social media star has officially gotten married.
Omatsu Emi, who goes by Emirin professionally, is a Japanese beauty and lifestyle YouTuber and former comedian.
Emirin’s met the man who would become her husband a year ago, in March 2024, during Emirin Boyfriend Audition. A fellow YouTuber, Hikaru, spearheaded this viral project to help Emirin find a boyfriend. Adachi–a corporate salesman and YouTuber known as “Time Master-to-Be Adachi”–was one of the men who applied to be part of the project. In the end, Emirin chose him, and their romance began.
We started messaging in May of 2024, began meeting frequently in June, and officially started dating in July. We’ve actually been living together for about a year now.

On August 10, she announced her marriage via a YouTube video and social media posts. The announcement doesn’t come as a total surprise to fans who have been following their journey, given that Emirin kept them up to date with how the relationship was progressing, revealing details such as when they met each other’s families, and when Adachi gave her an engagement ring.
The couple registered their marriage on July 20, and Emirin has officially changed her name from Omatsu Emi to Adachi Emi. Watch the announcement video here:
