A series of alleged private messages sent by Leeteuk of Super Junior has recently gone viral, igniting heated debate across social media.
According to circulating screenshots, Leeteuk reached out to a woman who shares an interest in cars. In the message, he mentioned that he was waiting to receive a Porsche 992 and invited her to go for a drive together once the car arrived. The woman reportedly declined the private invitation politely, instead suggesting that he join a car enthusiast club.

The incident quickly drew attention online, with many pointing out that this is not the first time Leeteuk has been caught sending direct messages to women. Back in 2018, he attempted to contact Yeonwoo (MOMOLAND), who is 13 years younger than him, but mistakenly sent the message to a fan page account. Even earlier, on the variety show Strong Heart, actress Kang Ye Sol and Dasom (SISTAR) revealed that he had messaged them late at night, around 3–4 a.m.

Criticism from netizens followed swiftly. Some accused him of having questionable intentions and using a repetitive “formula” to approach women. Comments ranged from discomfort with his messaging style to harsher claims suggesting he targets non-celebrities to avoid public scandals. Others mocked past explanations, such as hacking claims, and questioned his continued presence in the entertainment industry despite repeated controversies.
However, not all reactions were negative. Many fans came to Leeteuk’s defense, arguing that as a single man in his 40s, he has the right to meet and communicate with women. Supporters also pointed out that his messages appeared polite rather than inappropriate, pushing back against what they saw as exaggerated criticism.

Known as the “legendary leader” of the Hallyu wave, Leeteuk born Park Jungsoo in 1983 has guided Super Junior through more than two decades of success and challenges since their debut in 2005. Beyond music, he has built a strong reputation as a host, becoming a familiar face on popular variety programs like Star King, Strong Heart, and I Can See Your Voice thanks to his wit and adaptability.
As of 2026, following the group’s 20th anniversary, Leeteuk remains a symbol of dedication often stepping back to let other members shine while acting as a steady pillar for the group’s legacy.

Behind his bright on-screen persona, however, lies a life marked by personal hardship. His parents divorced when he was young, and he grew up with his older sister, actress-singer Park In Young. In 2014, during his military service, his father tragically killed his grandparents before taking his own life, leaving a deep emotional scar.
Now at 42, Leeteuk has never publicly confirmed a relationship and is known to live alone with his pet dog.
