In a YouTube video titled “Rapid Bloat-Relief Home Care Routine” uploaded on January 9, Lee Si An discussed her journey with Wegovy, a popular obesity treatment drug that has become a trend among celebrities and influencers. She explained that she decided to try it last summer after seeing many people around her starting the treatment.
“I didn’t want to fall behind the trend,” she admitted. “I started with the lowest dose and took it for about a month. For the first two weeks, I didn’t feel much.”
However, things took a turn during the third week.
“Suddenly, I started feeling motion sickness from within,” she recalled. “I felt like I had indigestion all day, and I would get nauseous in the car. It felt like I was going to throw up. It was just too much.”
After one more injection in the third week, she said she felt like a completely different person.
“For three days, I lived like someone who had lost her mind,” she revealed. “I couldn’t even go to the bathroom properly.”
Realizing her body was not reacting well to the drug, Lee Si An made the decision to stop the treatment. She emphasized that despite losing 1 to 2 kilograms due to the side effects, she is now focused on healthy methods like diet and exercise.
“It just didn’t suit me,” she said. “Now I’m managing my health through proper meals and workouts.”
