On the February 16 broadcast of SBS’s “AGJ,” Lee Mijoo appeared as a guest alongside Lim Woo Il and Jo Hyunah. During the episode, Mijoo surprised viewers by sharing a shocking story from her past relationship.
Recalling the incident, Mijoo said, “It was a very long time ago. I had to work on Christmas, so I couldn’t meet my boyfriend. I told him in advance.”
However, the following day, she received an unexpected phone call from a friend.
“My friend called me and asked, ‘Do you know that guy?’ She was asking what kind of person he was,” Mijoo explained. “I told her he was actually my boyfriend.”
That was when her friend revealed something shocking.
“She told me, ‘Your boyfriend asked an unnie from my group out on Christmas, and she still hasn’t come home yet,’” Mijoo shared.
After hearing this, Mijoo immediately confronted her boyfriend. “I contacted him, but he denied everything,” she said. Although she did not have concrete evidence, she trusted her instincts.
“I didn’t have proof, but I was sure. He kept denying it, so I told him we should break up,” she continued. “I really didn’t want to, but I felt so betrayed.”
Her honest confession drew attention from viewers, as she revealed the emotional weight of the experience despite it having happened long ago.
