On October 30, the press conference for the TVING original series Dear X was held at CGV I’Park Mall in Yongsan, Seoul. Director Lee Eung Bok, along with cast members Kim Yoo Jung, Kim Young Dae, Kim Do Hoon, and Lee Yul Eum, were present at the event.
Dear X is a suspenseful melodrama following Baek Ah Jin (played by Kim Yoo Jung), a woman who wears a mask to climb from hell to the highest echelons of success. The series explores her cruel fall and the devoted love of Yoon Jun Seo (Kim Young Dae), who chooses to walk through hell to protect her. The show delves into themes of love, identity, and destruction, with a striking contrast between Ah Jin’s beautiful facade and her dark inner world.

Back in September, ahead of the show’s release, dating rumors between Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Do Hoon went viral after someone claimed to have seen them together in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Online posts and photos of the pair sparked speculation.
At the time, both agencies clarified, “The actors were part of a group trip in May. The photos only captured the two of them, but it was not a private trip.”

Kim Yoo Jung shared her candid reaction to the situation during the press conference: “As soon as the rumor broke, I called Kim Do Hoon. We had just finished our schedule in Busan and were going our separate ways. As soon as we got on the phone, we just laughed for three minutes straight.”
She added, “Even the director laughed with us. I take it as a sign of interest in the show, so I truly hope the series does well.”
The first four episodes of Dear X will premiere on TVING at 6 PM KST on November 6.
