According to real estate records, Kim Tae Hee sold a 233㎡ exclusive unit at Hannam The Hill in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in November last year for ₩12.77 billion.
The property was originally purchased by the actress in August 2018 for ₩4.23 billion in cash. With the recent sale, she recorded a market profit of approximately ₩8.54 billion over a period of seven years.
The buyer of the luxury residence is reported to be Koo Ja Kwan, CEO of Samkoo I&C, widely known in Korea as the “Cleaning King.”
Hannam The Hill is one of Seoul’s most prestigious residential complexes. Built in 2011 on the former site of Dankook University’s Hannam campus, the complex consists of 32 buildings with up to 12 floors and a total of 600 households.
The luxury development is known for housing numerous high-profile residents, including conglomerate family members, BTS’s Jin, and actor So Ji Sub, among other celebrities.
