Set in Gyeongseong in 1935, Portraits of Delusion is a mystery romance drama starring Kim Seon-ho alongside Bae Suzy. Although it was previously announced for a release in the second half of the year, the platform has yet to confirm a specific premiere window.
The situation is similar for Kim Seon-ho’s other projects. According to industry insiders, the drama Unfriend (tentative title), which had once been discussed as a potential TVING original series, failed to secure scheduling early on. This decision, sources emphasized, was made independently of Kim Seon-ho’s current tax-related controversy. Meanwhile, tvN drama The Assemblyman Protects (tentative title) is reportedly still in the pre-production phase. The project has not yet entered filming, and neither its broadcast schedule nor official programming details have been confirmed.
Kim Seon-ho recently came under scrutiny after reports emerged that he had been receiving his entertainment income through a one-person corporation established under his family’s name. Allegations claim that his parents were registered as internal directors of the company and that funds were routed through the corporate account, first paid as salaries to his parents before being transferred back to him. Additional claims suggested that living expenses and vehicle maintenance costs were paid using a corporate credit card, raising suspicions of reduced corporate tax liability through expense processing.
In response, his agency, Fantagio, clarified that the corporation was established for theater production and related activities, denying any intentional tax avoidance or evasion. The agency stated that the company has since ceased operations and is currently undergoing closure in accordance with legal procedures.
