Na Chul passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 36, after battling a health condition. His sudden passing left many in the entertainment industry in mourning, including Kim Go Eun, who had worked closely with him on the drama Little Women.
At the time of his death, Kim Go Eun shared a deeply emotional message, remembering him as “the most amazing actor, the most amazing person—a father, husband, son, and friend.” She added, “I’m sorry I couldn’t stay with you until the end. Thank you for the precious memories. I don’t know what was so urgent, but I believe the place you’re in now is better than here. I’ll protect the two treasures you left behind. Don’t worry.” Her words reflected the profound bond they shared, far beyond just co-stars.
Na Chul left behind a legacy of strong performances in films like Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds, 1987: When the Day Comes, Extreme Job, and in popular dramas such as Stranger 2, Vincenzo, Hospital Playlist 2, Jirisan, Through the Darkness, and Little Women.
