Netizens were quite shocked.
One thing that fans often fear the most is the discovery of their online activities by their favorite stars. Content that does exactly this, such as BuzzFeed‘s “Thirst Tweet” series, has shown how idols can react in these types of situations.
However, idols can go off on their own and search topics that are presented to them, like 8TURN‘s Jaeyun did a few months ago.

In May, after sending a pregnancy emoji, which is used sometimes to represent being full, Jaeyun asked fans what “mpreg” was, much to the horror of many.

Mpreg, or male pregnancy, is a trope often seen in fanfiction where those who are biologically male at birth, and typically unable to get pregnant in the real world, are able to get pregnant. Though there are other ways the trope is done, this is the most popular and is usually found alongside sexual content because of how babies are made.
Jaeyun did not get the answer he needed from fans, however, as he recently said that he looked it up while on live.
💭: did you search what mpreg is?
🐻: yes i did. and i came across a lot of stuff. thank you guys for opening my eyes to a new world, i felt like i landed on a new planet.💭: im sure you loved it
🐻: get out. get the hell out. pic.twitter.com/qF9wIVzR0N— kt ᢉ𐭩 (@ilymaeng) November 23, 2025
Netizens reacted with amusement to his reaction, reflecting on the number of times he has mentioned this topic being surprising.
