BTS’s Jungkook and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo delighted fans with a surprise military-themed TikTok challenge video for Cha Eun-woo’s new solo song “SATURDAY PREACHER”, proving once again that friendship knows no uniform.
On November 22, a short clip posted across TikTok and fan accounts showed the two idols performing a dance challenge while wearing military uniforms. The two, both born in 1997 and long known for their close friendship, executed the choreography to the chorus of the song with perfect synchronization and undeniable chemistry.
At the end of the video, Cha Eun-woo saluted Jungkook with a playful “ Chungseong! ” (meaning “Loyalty!”), to which Jungkook, standing with hands behind his back, responded smartly with “ Danjul! ” (meaning “Unity!”)—a humorous nod to military hierarchy. Cha followed up with a respectful “ Thank you! ”

Fans couldn’t get enough of the reunion. Comments like “Their dance lines are insane,” “Is Jungkook acting like a senior officer now?”, and “Visuals too strong to handle” flooded social media, with the hashtag #97line trending shortly after the video dropped.
This special appearance follows Jungkook’s earlier show of support for Eun-woo at the VIP premiere of First Ride, where he was seen carrying a doll printed with Cha Eun-woo’s face—an image that quickly went viral.
Cha Eun-woo is currently serving as a private first class in the Defense Ministry’s Service Support Division, while Jungkook quietly enlisted last month. Before enlistment, Cha wrapped up his second solo mini album “ELSE”, released on November 21.
