Julian Cheung recently made fans laugh with his candid confession on the Chinese variety show Hello Saturday.
When asked about his relationship with his wife Anita Yuen, the 53-year-old Hong Kong star grinned and said: “No one can beat me when it comes to being afraid of my wife!”
He continued, “If she starts counting one, two, three I usually open the door by the time she gets to one!”
Julian Cheung jokingly described Anita Yuen’s home management style as “military-level precision”, adding that he’s long accepted her as the real boss at home.

Despite his lighthearted remarks, Julian Cheung and Anita Yuen remain one of Hong Kong’s most beloved and enduring celebrity couples.
The actor has often said that his biggest worry is “Anita not having enough money to spend.” Knowing her love for shopping, he never stops her instead, he takes joy in her happiness.
Even when fellow actor Dicky Cheung once teased him, saying he “did a good deed for the world by marrying Anita Yuen,” Julian Cheung simply smiled, showing his quiet devotion through actions rather than words.
Julian also revealed that their relationship is not without disagreements. Last year, the couple clashed over how their son should handle his internship Anita preferred he focus on studies first, while Julian encouraged real-world experience.

In the end, they chose to respect their son’s decision and learn to see things from each other’s perspectives.
Julian Cheung and Anita Yuen have been together since 1998, but he’s never minded being labeled a “husband who fears his wife.” Instead, he proudly embraces it, explaining: “When you truly care about someone, you stop arguing about who’s right or wrong.”
That gentle philosophy, fans say, may just be the secret to the couple’s long-lasting love.
