Jennie and Go Youn Jung attended the Chanel 2026–27 Fall/Winter Ready-to-Wear collection show in Paris, France. Jennie was present as a global ambassador for the luxury brand, while Go Youn Jung participated as a fashion and beauty ambassador.

Their contrasting styles also drew attention on the runway. Jennie showcased a bold and daring look, wearing a lingerie-inspired outfit paired with a mesh jacket that highlighted her confident and sexy image. Meanwhile, Go Youn Jung emphasized a more elegant and pure vibe with a classic tweed set.
The stark contrast between the two continued during their departure from the event. Despite the chilly early spring weather, Jennie walked confidently while revealing her outfit, greeting photographers with waves and maintaining the poise expected of a global star amid flashing cameras.

Go Youn Jung, on the other hand, created an unexpected scene during her exit. Even as many reporters gathered to capture photos, she appeared with a blanket wrapped around the lower half of her body to keep warm.
Footage of a Chanel staff member asking her to remove the blanket quickly spread across social media worldwide. Go Youn Jung was seen hesitating briefly, saying she felt cold, before eventually taking off the blanket and handing it to a staff member while holding onto a bodyguard’s arm as she walked down the stairs.

However, some criticism emerged online because Go Youn Jung had attended the event as a model representing the brand. Covering a sponsored outfit during a promotional event led some viewers to question her professionalism.
Many netizens reacted with comments such as, “How can you cover the outfit at Fashion Week?”, “There were so many cameras she could have endured it for a little while,” and “If the brand dressed her in a new collection, appearing with a blanket over it doesn’t seem professional. That’s probably why staff had to stop her.”
