Jang Wonyoung of IVE has drawn major attention after reportedly meeting Hollywood legends Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway for an exclusive interview.
According to OSEN on April 8, Jang Wonyoung recently sat down with the two top actresses for a special interview. The meeting was conducted privately, and details about their conversation have not yet been revealed. The full interview is expected to be released at a later date.
Industry insiders shared that Wonyoung had received an early offer to participate in the interview once Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway’s visit to Korea was confirmed. Given her well-known fluency in English, anticipation is growing that the interview will be conducted entirely in English, further raising global interest.

Prior to this, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway appeared on the tvN variety show You Quiz on the Block, where they met national MC Yoo Jae Suk. They also filmed YouTube content with actress Go Hyun Jung and appeared on MMTG, actively engaging in promotional activities. Their packed schedule has earned them the nickname of “Hollywood promo fairies” among Korean fans.
For Meryl Streep, this marks her first official visit to South Korea, while Anne Hathaway returns for the first time in eight years since 2018 and notably, this is her first visit dedicated to promoting a film.
The two actresses officially kicked off their promotional schedule with a press conference held at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul in Gwanghwamun for their upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2. They are set to continue their promotions through various variety show appearances, followed by a red carpet event at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo where they will meet Korean fans in person.

The The Devil Wears Prada 2 follows the story of Miranda, the legendary editor-in-chief of fashion magazine Runway, and Andy, who returns as a planning editor after 20 years. The two reunite with Emily, now a luxury brand executive, and navigate a dramatically changed media landscape while fighting to reclaim their dominance in the fashion world.
The sequel reunites the original cast, including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, generating massive anticipation. Marking its return two decades after the original film, the sequel is set to premiere first in South Korea on April 29.
