Singer and actress Hyeri recently shared an emotional moment that deeply resonated with fans. In a video uploaded on January 9 to her YouTube channel titled “Director Lee Kwang Min Hits the Nail on the Head — I Took the Real Personality Test from Isook Camp”, the star opened up during a psychological evaluation with psychiatrist Dr. Lee Kwang Min.
Dr. Lee described Hyeri’s personality type as 천상천하 유아독존 (Heavenly Angel, Self-Reliant) — which he interpreted as, “It’s not about arrogance. It means that at your core, you believe the only person you can truly rely on is yourself.” He added, “You don’t expect anyone to solve your problems. You don’t believe in luck. You just push forward, living by your convictions. That’s both admirable and heartbreaking.”

At that moment, Hyeri began to cry. “I didn’t expect to cry from something like this, but it’s just so true,” she said, her voice cracking. Dr. Lee further noted that she’s someone who gains energy through people, but her emotional batteries seemed depleted: “You’re running on half a battery. Constant tension is draining you.”
Hyeri admitted, “I’ve become so lazy, not because I want to, but because I just don’t have the energy. Even when I have time, I can’t clean or do basic things. Then I get even more stressed for letting it slide.”
Dr. Lee encouraged her to find time to rest, explaining, “You rely on two things to endure — achievement and support. One comes from good results, the other from people around you.”

Through tears, Hyeri shared, “When I didn’t get results, I used to take months off. But for the past one to two years, I haven’t really rested. What kept me going… was my fans. Knowing they love me — that’s what gave me the strength to keep pushing.”
“I just want to live a quiet life… but I’m thankful people still care.” – Hyeri, through tears
“Even someone as seemingly flawless as Hyeri carries this silent burden.” – Dr. Lee Kwang Min

This candid moment reminded fans why they admire Hyeri not just for her talent, but for her vulnerability and sincerity. Her story is a powerful reminder that even the brightest stars sometimes feel dim — but support and kindness can reignite them.
