He is the first trainee to be revealed in the group.
Entertainment agency Modenberry Korea has officially introduced trainee Ha Mingi. They announced that while their new boy group will debut in the second half of 2026, Ha Mingi would be introduced to the public first.
“We are planning to debut a new boy group in the second half of 2026, and among the trainees, Ha Mingi will begin communicating with the public through various channels first.”

According to a company representative, Ha Mingi was born in 2007 and is the grandson of Ha Sung Ho, the founder and chairman of Shinjeon Tteokbokki. He previously trained under SM Entertainment, and with his height of 185 cm and striking visuals, he is expected to captivate the public. Shinjeon Tteokbokki is South Korea’s representative brand and chain of rice cakes. They have 800 store locations in South Korea, and 18 locations globally. The family is said to be strongly supporting Ha Mingi in his debut.

“The Shinjeon Tteokbokki family has been giving their full support to Ha Mingi’s debut preparations, and we’re grateful for that. Our company is focusing all efforts on training for the new boy group, which we plan to launch in the latter half of 2026.”
Ha Mingi also gave a statement about his feelings towards debut.
“I’m thrilled at the thought of connecting with fans through various platforms. Even though I’m still a trainee, I want to grow into an artist who can reach people with sincere music.”
