Good Partner is set to return for Season 2 with a refreshed lineup. According to a MyDaily report on November 5, SBS is currently working on the script, with the goal of beginning filming in March next year. The script has been completed up to Episode 2.
Lead actress Jang Nara will, of course, reprise her role. However, Nam Ji-Hyun and Kim Jun-Han, who formed a strong on-screen dynamic with her in Season 1, will be stepping down. Pyo Ji-Hoon (P.O) will remain in the cast, while Kim Hye-Yoon will join to fill Nam Ji-Hyun’s role. Another male lead is reportedly still being cast. Season 2 will unfold with Jang Nara, Pyo Ji-Hoon, and a new lineup of actors.

Good Partner is a courtroom human drama that explores the professional and emotional battles between a top divorce lawyer and a rookie attorney experiencing divorce cases for the first time. The series captured audiences with its compelling story and the powerful “womance” between Jang Nara and Nam Ji-Hyun, leading to peak ratings of 17.7%.
The show brought significant acclaim to its stars. Jang Nara received the Grand Prize at the SBS Drama Awards, Nam Ji-Hyun earned the Top Excellence Award, and both Kim Jun-Han and Pyo Ji-Hoon were honored with Excellence Awards. The script is penned by Choi Yu-Na, a real-life law firm representative and divorce lawyer.
