In light of the recent tragedy with the fires in Hong Kong, Mnet released an official statement ahead of the 2025 MAMA Awards , which are due to take place on November 28 and 29.

Ahead of the event, a fan shared the alleged “leaked” setlist of the songs MEOVV would be singing at the event.

At first, it seemed to mean little outside of the fandom, but as news came from Hong Kong, netizens expressed concern as they saw the song “BURNING UP” on the list, especially considering the devastating consequences of the fire.
