Fans were in a frenzy on November 12 when G-Dragon, leader of BIGBANG, briefly followed a new account on Instagram, @yee ao, in addition to his usual fan account @fanplusonedotcom. Though he quickly unfollowed the account, screenshots had already circulated widely online.
The account belongs to a young Chinese influencer known for her luxurious lifestyle, frequent travels, and check-ins at high-end locations worldwide. Netizens have debated whether the follow was a slip of the finger or if G-Dragon personally knows the girl. Some speculate he accidentally used his main account instead of a private one.

Others have suggested a possible romantic connection, though no confirmation has been provided by the singer. G-Dragon, born in 1988, has historically been linked to high-profile figures like Kiko Mizuhara, Lee Joo-yeon, and Jennie from BLACKPINK, but rarely confirmed such rumors. Most recently, he denied dating Lee Joo-yeon after years of speculation.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon delivered a spectacular two-night concert in Hanoi, titled [Übermensch] IN HANOI, presented by VPBank, drawing a total of 100,000 attendees. The event set new standards for international music events in Vietnam, attracting fans from across the region. The concert was celebrated not just as a musical performance but also as a major cultural milestone for the Vietnamese K-pop community.
While fans eagerly await G-Dragon’s next move on social media, the singer himself has not addressed the Instagram follow incident.
