Daesung Plans Unexpected Reunion
In the episode, Daesung secretly invited Lee Soo-hyuk and G-Dragon without informing them about each other’s appearance. Using their close friendship, he planned to create a surprise meeting.
Lee Soo-hyuk arrived at the filming location first, where Daesung greeted him with exaggerated excitement and a dance performance. Lee Soo-hyuk appeared slightly uncomfortable with the energetic welcome.
The two later sat down and talked about their past collaboration in the drama What’s Up. Daesung joked that they had never sat together like that even during filming, while Lee Soo-hyuk teased that Daesung had been too busy as the youngest cast member back then.
G-Dragon’s Surprise Appearance Changes Atmosphere
The atmosphere shifted dramatically when G-Dragon entered the set. Both he and Lee Soo-hyuk looked visibly surprised upon seeing each other. G-Dragon jokingly asked if there was any jokbal (braised pig’s feet) and made a playful gesture as if trying to hit Daesung for tricking him, drawing laughter from everyone on set.
During the moment, Lee Soo-hyuk quickly used the opportunity to promote his film Sister, stating that it was released on January 28 and joking that it might be his last chance to promote it, which further amused the cast.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon appeared confused and commented, “I’m not in the movie,” prompting Daesung to quickly explain that he invited both guests because they are close friends. G-Dragon responded humorously, saying, “You’ve grown up… You’re really pranking me.”
G-Dragon Reveals He Expected a Solo Appearance
After revealing the prank, Daesung celebrated the success of his hidden camera plan. Lee Soo-hyuk jokingly remarked that he was not surprised, while G-Dragon admitted he felt slightly disappointed.
“I was told this would be my solo appearance, so I dressed up nicely,” G-Dragon said. Daesung acknowledged that he had indeed invited G-Dragon under the promise of a solo episode, leading G-Dragon to question, “But it’s not a solo appearance.” Daesung playfully asked him to return for another solo episode in the future, leaving G-Dragon reacting with disbelief.
Lee Soo-hyuk also joked that many staff members from his film’s promotion team were present, while Daesung laughed awkwardly to smooth over the situation. G-Dragon wrapped up the moment with humor, saying, “*Zip Daesung is a luxurious program. They use Soo-hyuk and me so freely,”* bringing the episode to a lighthearted conclusion.
