On the afternoon of January 6, a press screening and media conference for the film Boy were held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul. Director Lee Sang Deok, along with actors Jo Byeong Gyu and Jini, attended the event.

Speaking about her first film project, Jini said, “I received the offer at a time when I had started to become interested in acting. Being able to make my screen debut through Boy is a great honor, and it feels very special and meaningful to me.”
She went on to explain her character, Jane, describing her as “a new resident who arrives at a hot spring town in Texas. She has a confident personality, and I tried to express the character mainly through her actions and gaze rather than words.”

Jini also highlighted her connection to the film’s music, noting, “The music director B.I composed several songs for the movie, but the one I sang myself is the most special to me. I hope people will listen to it when they have the time.”
Boy is a neon-noir film set in a near-future dystopia, portraying a world where a single love has the power to shake everything. The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on January 14.
