A major controversy has erupted in the Taiwanese entertainment industry after actress Lin Ni’an publicly accused former boy group GTM member Zhu Yumo (Wish) of abusive behavior and a chaotic private life. The allegations, which quickly spread across social media, have drawn widespread attention and sparked intense debate among netizens.
The situation began when Lin Ni’an posted a series of emotional messages on Threads, exposing a “37-year-old man surnamed Zhu who claims to be a well-known artist.” In her posts, she described a pattern of troubling behavior, alleging that he frequently approached women under the guise of his celebrity status and maintained multiple relationships simultaneously. She further claimed that his living space and personal belongings were filled with condoms, suggesting an extremely active and complicated dating life.
More seriously, Lin Ni’an accused Zhu Yumo of engaging in physical altercations with past partners and pressuring women into taking contraceptive pills. She also stated that he refused to publicly acknowledge their relationship, allegedly citing her identity as an influencer with negative public perception as the reason. To support her claims, she shared partially censored screenshots from TV programs as clues, urging other women to remain cautious.
Following the viral accusations, Zhu Yumo responded promptly through his agency, confirming that he is the individual referenced in the posts. He admitted that the two had “attempted to date” but ultimately found themselves incompatible. He expressed an apology for any discomfort caused during their relationship and wished Lin Ni’an well moving forward.
However, Zhu Yumo also firmly denied any false accusations, emphasizing that he would take legal action if unverified or defamatory claims continue to circulate.
