Though their careers have diverged, the camaraderie among former X1 members remains alive—something fans witnessed firsthand at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards on November 14 (KST). Hosted by Ilgan Sports, the awards night honored standout achievements in Korean music and treated longtime K-pop fans to an unexpected yet emotional reunion.

During the ceremony, Kim Yohan, now active as an actor, took the stage to present the “Best Memory” award to none other than WOODZ (Cho Seungyoun), who has flourished as a solo artist since the group’s disbandment.

The heartfelt exchange between the two touched fans deeply. X1, formed through the survival show Produce X 101, was abruptly disbanded in January 2020 following the infamous vote-manipulation scandal. Despite this, the enduring respect and affection between members has stayed intact.
After the ceremony, Kim Yohan shared his happiness on Instagram Stories with a simple yet sincere message: “This makes me so happy. You’re so incredible.”

WOODZ responded with equal warmth, reinforcing the depth of their friendship: “I love it even more because you gave it to me.”
The brief reunion quickly resonated with fans, especially those who supported X1 during their short-lived but impactful era. Many took to social media to express both nostalgia and hope for the members’ continued success.

Comments from fans included:
“They’ve both come so far. I want even more for them.”
“I was an X1 fan. Time flies, but I still support them wholeheartedly.”
“They were #1 and #6—neither of them were part of the rigging. They were victims too.”
“Would love to see an X1 reunion someday.”
“They deserve all the happiness and success in the world.”

As fans continue to cheer on both Kim Yohan and WOODZ, this reunion served not only as a powerful moment of healing but also a reminder of the strong bonds formed during their time in X1. Whether through acting or music, these former bandmates continue to shine—individually, yet forever connected.
