A girl group has announced a lineup of new members whose ages range from 13 to 22 years old.
AKB48 Team TP (short for Akihabara48 Team Taipei) is a Taiwanese idol girl group located in Taipei, Taiwan. It is the 5th international sister group of the 20-year-old Japanese girl group AKB48. In total, AKB48 Team TP has had 67 original members over their five generations, and as of October 2025, they have 36 members.
AKB48 Team TP recently revealed eight new members for the group’s sixth generation. The youngest is 13-year-old Ningning, who was born on December 16, 2011.
The next youngest new member is 14-year-old Yuanyuan, born January 1, 2011. The rest of the members are 16-year-old Yumena, 17-year-old Leilei, 21-year-old Tuanzi, 21-year-old Lele, 22-year-old Yiqi, and 22-year-old Xixi.
Not much is known about the new additions at this time, but all eight will begin their AKB48 Team TP careers as kenkyuusei (trainees) before they officially debut on the main stage.
