According to an exclusive report by MyDaily on March 1, Danielle attended the Tokyo Marathon held in Tokyo, Japan, to support runners participating in the event. She has previously shown a strong passion for running, having been active in the running crew “Unknown” alongside singer Sean.
Danielle reportedly attended the event to cheer on Sean and other runners. Actor Lee Si Woo was also said to be present. Witnesses noted that Danielle appeared bright and cheerful, smiling and taking photos with fans.
Last December, ADOR announced that it had notified Danielle of the termination of her exclusive contract, stating, “Danielle is a NewJeans member and an artist under ADOR, but we have determined it is difficult to continue working together and have notified her of contract termination.” The agency further added that it plans to hold legally accountable one family member of Danielle and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, whom it claims bear significant responsibility for the dispute and the delay in NewJeans’ return.
ADOR subsequently filed a damages lawsuit seeking approximately 43.09 billion KRW (around 430.9 billion KRW as reported) against Danielle, one of her family members, and former CEO Min Hee Jin. The case has reportedly been assigned to the same judicial panel that previously handled the stock dispute between Min Hee Jin and HYBE.

Meanwhile, NewJeans members Hyein, Haerin, and Hanni have returned to ADOR, while Minji is reportedly still in discussions about rejoining, now in its third month.
As the legal battle continues, Danielle’s public appearance at the Tokyo Marathon has drawn attention, marking a rare sighting amid the high-profile dispute surrounding the group.
