Comedian and TV writer Yoo Byung-jae has shared an unexpected personal concern that left fans both amused and sympathetic he believes he has gotten shorter. The revelation comes nearly a year after he went public with his girlfriend, influencer Ahn Yoo-jung, who is nine years younger.
In the latest episode of KNOW ME: Chwi-hyang Sedae uploaded on October 30, Yoo Byung-jae appeared alongside Olympic short-track speed skater Kwak Yoon-gi. The video, titled “National Representative Kwak Yoon-gi’s Energy Items Priced Like This?!,” quickly caught viewers’ attention for Yoo Byung-jae’s candid remarks.
During their friendly conversation, Yoo Byung-jae asked Kwak Yoon-gi about his recent activities. Kwak Yoon-gi replied: “I’m basically unemployed right now, just guarding my house. I retired in May and wanted to focus on broadcasting, but senior athletes advised me to take a break first.”

I’ve always been 162 cm, but at 35, my health check said 164 cm. Then suddenly, I dropped to 163.9 cm. Maybe it’s because I used a foot callus remover too much I scraped it every day because it was fun.”
He admitted, “I’m not joking it really made me depressed,” while Kwak Yoon-gi burst out laughing.
