During the live broadcast of the 2025 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) on November 29 at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, rising boy group AllDay Project delivered their high-energy track “FAMOUS.” However, a major technical glitch stole the spotlight.
The performance opened with member Tarzan seated at the base of the stage, preparing for a modern dance solo that seamlessly transitioned into a high-difficulty acrobatic sequence. Just as the routine began, a remote-controlled camera crashed unexpectedly, obstructing the live broadcast. Mnet quickly cut the feed to crowd shots, and much of Tarzan’s choreography, including his complex tumbling, was lost to television viewers.

Tarzan, a trained dancer who began his journey in middle school and won back-to-back contemporary dance competitions in high school, had been highly anticipated by fans for this solo moment.
Fan-shot videos later revealed an astonishing nine consecutive flips that were completely absent from the official broadcast. The performance, which drew explosive cheers at the venue, became a point of frustration for viewers at home who missed what many described as a “legendary moment.”

Online reactions were swift and intense:
“The camera dropped at the most crucial moment!”
“He did NINE flips live and it didn’t even air?!”
“Unbelievable technical error. This was a disaster.”
Despite the mishap, Tarzan and AllDay Project were widely praised for their professionalism and stage presence. The unfortunate incident, however, has sparked renewed calls for better live broadcast protocols and safety checks, especially in high-stakes international shows like MAMA.

As one of the standout rookie performances of the night, AllDay Project still managed to capture attention—but the moment that could have defined their rise was lost to a falling lens.
