On March 30, BTS V uploaded a video on his personal account along with a caption written in English: “I’m locking in for real this time no excuses”
In the video, V can be seen taking an online English conversation class early in the morning. Fully immersed, he carefully listens to a native speaker’s pronunciation and immediately repeats it, showing his passion and determination.
Fans quickly responded with messages of support, praising his sincerity and once again falling for the BTS member’s honest and relatable charm.
His update gained even more attention following a recent buzz involving designer Lee Jung-woo, the mother-in-law of actress Jun Ji-hyun. She had previously posted, “A leader who speaks English vs. those who still can’t after 10 years,” which sparked discussion online.

Lee later clarified that the comment was made in a lighthearted context, explaining, “It was something the members joked about during a Weverse live, and I found it funny,” while also revealing she has been an ARMY for 10 years, which helped calm the controversy.
Meanwhile, BTS made their comeback on March 21 with the event “BTS Comeback Live: Arirang” held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.
