BTS has officially addressed the shocking theft incident that occurred at their concert venue, reassuring fans that strict entry protocols remain firmly in place.
On April 11, authorities confirmed that approximately 500 admission wristbands were stolen from a ticket booth at the auxiliary stadium of Goyang Sports Complex. The suspect reportedly fled the scene after taking the bands, which are required for concert entry alongside ticket verification.
Police are currently tracking the individual based on witness descriptions and are continuing their search in the surrounding area.
The scale of the theft immediately raised concerns among fans, especially regarding the possibility of unauthorized access to the highly anticipated concert.

In response, BTS’s agency, BigHit Music, moved quickly to calm the situation.
The company emphasized that stolen wristbands alone cannot be used to enter the venue. Every attendee must go through official identity verification procedures at designated booths.
They further warned fans to stay vigilant: Do not purchase or accept wristbands from unofficial sources. Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately to event staff or police.

This statement effectively shuts down concerns that the stolen items could compromise security at the event.
Despite the incident, BTS successfully continued their “ARIRANG” World Tour performances at Goyang Stadium, marking their long-awaited full-group return after several years.
The tour, which spans 34 cities and 85 shows worldwide, is already making headlines not only for its scale but also for the group’s evolving musical direction—often referred to by fans as “BTS 2.0.”
While the theft incident added an unexpected twist to the concert weekend, the swift response from both authorities and BigHit Music has reassured fans that safety and fairness remain top priorities.
