On April 4, a video titled “Juragi, It’s Been a While – Updates I Couldn’t Share” was uploaded to Jung Ji Woo’s YouTube channel “Mejiwoo.”
In the video, Jung Ji Woo shared, “The most impactful and difficult news is actually about IVF treatment,” adding that since it is such a personal matter, she initially hesitated to speak about it publicly. She explained that during her 5–6 month break from YouTube, she took time to rest both physically and mentally. After dealing with heavy workloads and stress, she seriously considered preparing for a family and decided to proceed with IVF treatment.
She revealed that she began IVF procedures in November last year, saying, “I recently went through my first embryo transfer, but it didn’t work out. It was what’s called a chemical miscarriage.” She continued, “The first attempt ended with unfortunate news, but I’m recovering well and staying healthy.”

Jung Ji Woo added, “I heard that this happens quite often, so I tried to accept it calmly, but it wasn’t easy. I’m okay now, though. I’m taking good care of my health, so please don’t worry.”
She also explained why she decided to share such a personal story, saying, “As I start YouTube again and continue sharing my daily life as a vlogger, IVF has become a big part of my routine. I realized I couldn’t share my life honestly without mentioning it. Even though it’s personal, I felt I should open up about it.”

She further shared that she is currently considering a second egg retrieval and additional embryo transfers, adding, “I think I’ll be starting again soon.”
Born in 1990, Jung Ji Woo is known not only as J-Hope’s sister but also as a successful YouTuber with 2.38 million subscribers, as well as a model, businesswoman, and influencer.
Last year, she appeared alongside her brother J-Hope on MBC’s I Live Alone, where she gained attention for her striking visuals and fluent English skills.
