It’s not YG Entertainment.
BLACKPINK member Lisa’s brand power has struck again, showing real-time impact on the stock prices of a Korean entertainment company.

It all started with just a mirror selfie posted recently by Lisa herself. In the picture, her phone was seen to be decorated with a pop-socket shaped like Heartsping, a cartoon character from the popular South Korean animated series, Catch! Teenieping.

Shortly after this photo was posted, netizens noticed that the stock price of SAMG Entertainment, which produces the animation series, went up by 10%. Online community sites started getting flooded with posts from ordinary shareholders expressing their amusement at the power of one selfie by Lisa.

My Teenieping was minus 100, and then it hit 100,000 won. I was wondering what happened.
Turns out, it was thanks to Lisa. Thank you.
I hope it goes up higher tomorrow so that I can sell it.
