On March 6, Jisoo appeared alongside actor Seo In Guk on Hyeri’s YouTube show Hyell’s Club. The two stars discussed various behind-the-scenes moments from filming the Netflix romantic fantasy series.
During the conversation, Jisoo revealed that actor Kim Young Dae ended up filming the drama’s final shoot with them due to a last-minute scheduling change. Hyeri joked about how confusing the moment must have been for him.
“He probably came to set and suddenly everyone was taking group photos and crying,” Hyeri said, drawing laughter from the cast.
The conversation then shifted to emotional moments that often happen when filming ends. Seo In Guk shared that he sometimes becomes emotional on the final day of a project, while Hyeri admitted that she tends to cry heavily when saying goodbye to the cast and staff.

“Whenever it’s the last shoot, I think about how we won’t see each other anymore and I just bawl my eyes out,” Hyeri said.
However, Jisoo revealed that she personally had a completely different reaction.
“The directors cry a lot. I remember comforting them, saying ‘You worked hard,’” she recalled. “But tears just didn’t come out for me.”
She added that she even tried to reflect on the emotions of the moment but still could not fully relate to the sadness others felt.

“I actually tried to think deeply about it on the last day,” Jisoo explained. “But I couldn’t understand which part was supposed to be sad.”
Instead of feeling emotional, she said the atmosphere made her feel excited.
“I was actually excited. I’d go around saying things like ‘Who wants to take photos?’ after filming finished,” she said.
After the clip circulated online, some netizens reacted negatively to her remarks, linking them to the long-running debate surrounding her acting ability.

Comments such as “Now I understand why her acting doesn’t feel convincing,” “Maybe she isn’t emotionally immersed in her character,” and “It sounds like she lacks attachment to the project” spread across online communities.
However, many fans defended the singer-actress, arguing that the criticism was exaggerated. Some pointed out that actors naturally react differently to the end of filming.
Others commented, “Not crying doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about the drama,” and “She’s just being honest about how she felt.”
In Boyfriend on Demand, Jisoo plays Seo Mi Rae, a webtoon producer who becomes involved in a virtual dating simulation where fictional characters appear in the real world. The fantasy romantic comedy also stars Seo In Guk as Park Kyung Nam and features numerous cameo appearances, including actors Lee Soo Hyuk, Seo Kang Jun, Lee Jae Wook, Ong Seong Wu, and Kim Young Dae.
