BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is facing intense backlash after a clip from the group’s concert this weekend went viral for all the wrong reasons.
BLACKPINK hit Jakarta this weekend as part of their highly anticipated world tour, DEADLINE, for two back-to-back sold-out shows. Alongside the group’s latest and greatest hits, Act 2 of the concert features solo performances from Lisa and Jisoo.
Now, a video of Jisoo performing “Earthquake” on day one in Indonesia has become the subject of viral criticism, reaching nearly 1 million views on X in a post that slammed her execution of the “bounce” move from the song’s chorus.
More scrutiny of Jisoo’s stage presence flooded in, with many accusing her of a streak of lackluster performances over her nine-year career.

Users had similar criticism on TikTok where the clip was originally posted, amassing 1.4 million views. Several commenters were also quick to criticize Jisoo’s execution of the choreography, while others questioned her skills in comparison to her visuals.
BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE tour is set to continue with shows in the Philippines and Singapore this month, and this isn’t the first time Jisoo has gone viral. Earlier this week, the star sparked conversation with her “see-through” outfit at the group’s Thailand concert.
