In a rare and moving moment, BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE World Tour In Bangkok took on a somber tone as the group and their fans paid tribute to Thailand’s late Queen Mother Sirikit, who passed away at the age of 93.

Following the official announcement of her death, Live Nation Tero, the concert organizer, quickly issued a notice encouraging all attendees of the two-night shows at Rajamangala Stadium (October 25–26) to wear black and white attire to express respect and condolence toward the Thai royal family.

Before the concert began, the entire audience stood together in a minute of silence in remembrance of Queen Mother Sirikit — a powerful and emotional moment that turned the stadium into a sea of black.

In coordination with this tribute, YG Entertainment adjusted the concert’s stage design by replacing BLACKPINK’s signature pink LED visuals with an all-black theme, enveloping the venue in a solemn yet graceful atmosphere.
“The concert transformed into a symbol of unity and respect, as thousands of fans stood in quiet reflection,” shared one attendee on social media.

Although the Thai government had only advised a temporary pause on entertainment activities, both fans and organizers voluntarily chose to modify the concert experience — reducing pyrotechnics and lights while embracing muted tones in clothing and visuals.
Despite the subdued ambiance, BLACKPINK continued their performances as planned, maintaining the same set list seen in other cities. However, each member’s solo stage adopted a dominant black palette as a sign of reverence for the late Queen Mother.

Images from the concert captured an unprecedented sight — a massive audience dressed entirely in black and white, united in collective remembrance.
“It wasn’t just a show; it was a heartfelt tribute,” noted a Thai media outlet.

The gesture received widespread appreciation across Thai social media, where users praised BLACKPINK, their fans, and organizers for showing deep cultural sensitivity and respect during a period of national mourning.
Beyond BLACKPINK, other international artists performing in Bangkok, including GOT7’s Youngjae, also observed moments of silence at their events, further highlighting the shared sense of empathy among the global entertainment community.
