He was previously announced to be on hiatus.
BAE173‘s Doha has announced a lawsuit against his agency, PocketDol Studio.

According to an exclusive report from TheFact, Doha recently filed a lawsuit to confirm the nonexistence of his exclusive contract and an injunction to suspend its effect against PocketDol Studio. In the complaint, Doha’s side claimed that the company did not provide profit settlement statements, failed to provide documentation of income and expenses, and falsely recorded expenses as paid when they were not.
Doha also claimed that he was removed from group activities without his permission following a meeting on September 15th. On September 23, it was announced that Doha would be taking a hiatus from group activities, which included BAE173’s album release in October, which he claims was done without his knowledge.

Doha’s representatives sent a written demand for correction and notice of contract termination to PocketDol Studio on September 30. Still, as no action was taken by October 15, they issued a formal termination notice. On the 22nd, they proceeded to file the lawsuit and request an injunction, with the first court hearing on the injunction scheduled for November 17.

Other issues mentioned included the company’s allegedly worsening financial situation in general. Doha debuted as a member of the group in 2020 after working as a child actor. The group previously had nine members, but Dohyon left the group in 2023 after winning a case for the termination of his exclusive contract.
Fans have expressed outrage over the idol, criticizing the agency for its alleged actions.

But if I, who am a spectator, cannot stand this company, I don’t know how they have put up with it for so long, being the ones who experience the injustices https://t.co/p70oVHADoR
