According to Taiwanese outlet ETtoday on February 24 (local time), Wang Xiaofei’s mother, Zhang Lan, confirmed that her daughter-in-law Mandy safely gave birth to a son. She had previously shared her excitement about becoming a grandmother again, saying she had been counting down the days until meeting her grandchild.
Mandy had earlier revealed that she planned to give birth in Taiwan, explaining that Wang Xiaofei’s frequent business trips would make it difficult for him to stay by her side during her postpartum recovery. She shared, “My friends and family are here, so they can help me.” She also noted that since her husband is originally from Beijing, the household registration and related procedures have already been completed. After finishing her postpartum care, she is expected to return to Beijing.
With the news of Wang Xiaofei’s son, public interest has also refocused on his two children with Barbie Hsu —daughter Xiaoyue’er and son Linlin. The former couple married in 2011 just 49 days after meeting but finalized their divorce in 2021 after 10 years of marriage.
