“This has got to be on purpose…”

Is CUBE Entertainment messing with i-dle (formerly (G)I-DLE) members’ photos on purpose? After seeing a series of Miyeon‘s selfies shared via the girl group’s official social media, fans are now accusing the management agency of having malicious intent behind the over-editing, which was already once called out by Shuhua.

In some of the selfies, Miyeon’s finger pointing toward her chin—bent and distorted—drew attention among fans. Her face shape, according to the fans, also looked altered in comparison to the idol’s real appearance.

Such “botched” Photoshopping attempts have since convinced i-dle fans that whoever is in charge of uploading the photos is “doing this on purpose.”

- “This has got to be on purpose…”
- “What’s the reason for botching the photos like this? Trolling with her face? This is an anti-fan terrorizing her.”
- “What was the reason?”
- “Is the admin picking fights with the fans? The person behind the official account for my bias also does this, instigating sh*t with the fans.”
- “Work of an anti-fan.”
- “And they get paid for this quality of work??? This is insane, CUBE.”
- “LMAO. What is wrong with them?”
- “The unedited versions are so much better.”
- “Did they just learn how to use Photoshop? These are f*cking horrible.”
- “Why edit perfectly beautiful photos to look weird?”
- “Just upload the originals, they’re fine…”
- “Low key I think they’re f*cking up Miyeon’s selfies on purpose.”
