Wedding bells may be ringing sooner rather than later for one celebrity couple, according to the latest reports.
On November 26, Japanese magazine FRIDAY reported that actor Ikematsu Sosuke and actress Kawai Yuumi are in the process of preparing for marriage. After co-starring in the 2021 movie Just Remembering (also known as Chotto Omoidashita dake), Sosuke reportedly approached Yuumi, kicking off what would grow into a long-term relationship.
According to FRIDAY, the couple is now living together in a luxury Tokyo apartment. Both Yuumi and Sosuke were spotted leaving the building this month and heading to their respective workplaces.
When their relationship became public knowledge in 2023, rumors emerged that Sosuke had told his friends that he hoped to get married within the year. Now, FRIDAY‘s report is hinting that those rumors may becoming true in the near future.
Sosuke reportedly gave “straightforward,” “honest” responses to FRIDAY‘s inquiries, which will be published in the magazine’s December 12th issue.
