She was in the race for the Best Actress Award.
On November 19, KST, the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards were held at the KBS Hall in Seoul, celebrating the best of Korean cinema this year. Though the event concluded on a peaceful note, an allegedly leaked voting sheet has stirred up a controversy across Korea and China regarding actress Song Hye Kyo.

The alleged voting sheet first surfaced on Weibo, where it showed a breakdown of how the judges voted to choose the best actress among the five nominees: Song Hye Kyo (Dark Nuns), Son Ye Jin (No Other Choice), Lee Jae In (Hi-Five), Lee Hye Young (The Old Woman With The Knife), and Im YoonA (Pretty Crazy).

According to the original poster, in the first round of voting, Son Ye Jin and Lee Hye Young both received three votes each, followed by Lee Jae In, who received two votes, and YoonA, who received one vote. In round two, the selection narrowed to the top three, and Song again received no votes. In the third and final round, Son Ye Jin got six votes, Lee Hye Young three, and Song zero, yet again. As per the OP’s (original poster) claims, the data was sourced from an internal compilation sheet which is usually not revealed to the public.

As the voting sheet went viral across China and Korea, discourses about Song Hye Kyo receiving zero votes skyrocketed on the internet. Many users deemed the results unrealistic, arguing that an artist of her calibre would not usually receive zero support. On the other side, some also bluntly agreed with the sheet, arguing that her performance in Dark Nuns lacked the edge over her competitors. Debates over the legitimacy of the Blue Dragon Film Awards’ judging system also erupted.
