They’re really close!
The November 28 broadcast of the SBS variety show My Too-Picky Manager – Secretary Jin featured actor Lee Seo Jin and Kim Kwang Gyu looking after the rookie boy-girl group ALLDAY PROJECT.
Annie, one of the key members of ALLDAY PROJECT, previously drew attention for her background as the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group chairwoman Lee Myung Hee and the eldest daughter of chariwoman Chung Yoo Kyung.
Annie surprisingly revealed her family’s long-standing connection with Lee Seo Jin. Lee claimed to have known her other since elementary school. He is close enough with the family that Annie often called him “Uncle” during his visits to her home.
“I’ve known Annie’s mother since elementary school and her father since high school. I’ve known Annie since the day she was born. I’m so glad she’s doing well.”
It was also revealed that the scar on Lee Seo Jin’s face happened at Annie’s house.
“Annie’s mom was away on a business trip, and her dad and I were drinking. We went to sleep, and the next morning her dad woke me up saying, ‘Hyung, what happened to your face?’ Turns out my face was bleeding. Annie said, ‘Oh? You’re bleeding.’”
Lee Seo Jin also praised Annie’s father for his brains.
“He was smart from a young age, knew a lot, and was curious about everything. Did you know he plays guitar? He once gifted me the same guitar used by my favorite band’s guitarist. It’s always fun meeting him because he knows so much.”
Annie also made a surprise video call with her younger sister Moon Seo Jin, who drew attention for her resemblance to Annie.
