Fans of ALLDAY PROJECT rapper Woochan have taken to the streets in China to protest what they describe as ongoing disrespect and unfair treatment from his label, THE BLACK LABEL.
The protest, carried out via decorated trucks, took place on December 10 from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM KST, right in front of THE BLACK LABEL’s offices. Supporters shared official statements on social media expressing their frustration over the label allegedly downplaying Woochan’s identity as a rapper and taking various content out of context.
“Malicious edits? Edited clips? Moments of distorted communication? This isn’t a controversy, it’s a conspiracy against Woochan!
He has been active for eight years without a single malicious incident, but is now facing constant criticism after signing with THE BLACK LABEL.
Anyone who’s become arrogant and haughty is definitely not Woochan, but THE BLACK LABEL!”

Fans also criticized the label for giving Woochan minimal exposure in songs despite his history as a Main Rapper and participation in Show Me The Money, a widely known show for rappers:
“He’s the main rapper, but he has no rap parts? His solo part in the title song is only six seconds?
He’s from SMTM and is a widely known rapper. Why are you guys the only ones trying to hide him?
Give him reasonable parts and accept the fact that he is a worthy artist.”

Photos shared by fans show the protest trucks parked outside THE BLACK LABEL, decorated with messages demanding fair treatment for Woochan. The protest received widespread support from the international fanbase, who hope the label will make significant changes in response.
This protest marks another chapter in fan-led activism in K-pop, where dedicated supporters publicly demand fair recognition and creative opportunities for their favorite artists.
