Actress Ahn Eun-jin is stepping into the spotlight with a dazzling transformation for her latest role in Dynamite Kiss, which premieres on November 12 at 9 PM KST.
The press conference for the drama was held on November 5 at SBS Hall in Mokdong, Seoul. Present at the event were director Kim Jae-hyun, lead actors Jang Ki-yong, Ahn Eun-jin, Kim Mu-jun, and Woo Da-vi, who introduced the series and discussed their characters.
The drama is about a single lady who poses as a mother in order to earn money, and the team leader who develops feelings for her.
Ahn Eun-jin, who recently made headlines for her noticeable weight loss and stunning visuals, expressed gratitude for the compliments: “Thank you for saying I’ve taken good care of myself. I wanted to look pretty for this rom-com. I thought a lot about how to appear beautifully on screen so that people would see our couple and dream of having such a lovely romance.”
She also shared her commitment to the role, saying: “I stayed on edge throughout the shoot. Instead of deciding how to express the character scene by scene, I focused on being fully present in each situation as the character.”
Dynamite Kiss marks a significant return for SBS’s weekday drama lineup, making it the network’s first Wednesday-Thursday series in a while. As the drama takes on the prime slot, expectations are high.
Director Kim Jae-hyun shared his excitement, stating: “When I first joined SBS, Wednesday-Thursday dramas were a hot slot. I always dreamed of directing one, and now I get to launch my second project in that exact lineup. I believe we’ve created something truly fun.”
With a charming setup, emotional tension, and explosive chemistry, Dynamite Kiss promises to be a must-watch romantic comedy this winter.
