A recent episode of the reality show The Blooming Journey 2 has stirred major controversy after actress Carina Lau made unexpectedly blunt remarks on-air — leaving two young male co-stars visibly uncomfortable.
Known for her strong personality, Carina appeared on the show alongside fellow actresses Liu Xiaoqing, Ning Jing, Cecilia Cheung, He Saifei, and two young male artists: 25-year-old Ke Chun and 21-year-old Shao Zi Heng (son of actor Shao Bing). During a conversation about love and relationships in the entertainment industry, Carina shocked both cast and viewers with a deeply personal and inappropriate question.
When Ke Chun confessed he was hesitant to date, Carina bluntly asked: “At your age, how can you not be dating? If you don’t have girlfriends, how do you take care of your sexual needs?” She even insinuated that the young actors might not be into women — a remark that caused both Ke and Shao to visibly freeze.
