On November 7, the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun released a video titled “[Hint Cam] The 124th Gathering Guest | Premiering November 14 (Saturday) at 9 AM.” The video featured actors Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo chatting with Yoo Jae Suk and Yang Se Chan.
During the conversation, Yoo Jae Suk asked Gong Yoo, “Are you the impatient type?” Gong Yoo replied, “I’m not that impatient.” However, Song Hye Kyo, who was listening beside him, disagreed, saying, “I don’t think you’re that laid-back either.”
Taken aback, Gong Yoo asked, “Am I impatient?” Yoo Jae Suk then laughed and commented, “You two have great chemistry.”
Yoo Jae Suk went on to ask whether the two actors had debuted around the same time. Song Hye Kyo immediately responded firmly, “I’m your senior.” Gong Yoo, who is in his 26th year since debut, instantly became much more polite.
When Yang Se Chan added, “You should uncross your legs,” Gong Yoo obediently uncrossed his legs and said, “There, I’ve uncrossed them,” making everyone laugh.
Song Hye Kyo, who is celebrating her 30th debut anniversary this year, revealed that her career began after she entered a school uniform modeling competition. Gong Yoo complimented her, saying, “You would still look pretty wearing a school uniform now.”
However, Song Hye Kyo scoffed playfully and exposed Gong Yoo’s teasing personality, saying, “He’s saying that because I’m short. He pokes fun at me every single day on set.”
She also jokingly bragged about her youthful appearance, saying, “When I’m really bored, I think I’ll buy a bottle of wine on my way home and have a glass. But when I go to buy it, they tell me, ‘We can’t sell it to you because you look 18.’”
Hearing this, Gong Yoo and Yoo Jae Suk fired back with, “Is that what you were trying to bring up this whole time?” and “That was an incredible buildup to the story,” respectively, adding to the laughter.
Meanwhile, the Netflix series Tantara, starring Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo, is scheduled to premiere on December 11.
