According to Fnnews on November 1, Kim Ji-young attended Choi Bool-am’s funeral alongside her husband, actor Nam Sung-jin, at Asan Medical Center in Seoul’s Songpa District.
Kim appeared wearing a black biker-style leather jacket, dark gray jeans, and white sneakers. Her black shoulder bag featuring a thick gold chain strap and her makeup also drew attention. Speaking to the press, Kim expressed her condolences, saying, “It’s heartbreaking that we can no longer see him. I pray that he rests in peace.”
After photos of Kim Ji-young were published by the media, some people criticized her for wearing what they considered an unsuitable outfit to a funeral. Comments included, “The least she could do is dress appropriately for a funeral,” and “Is that really what she chose to wear to a funeral?”

On the other hand, some argued that showing respect and mourning the deceased at the funeral mattered far more than one’s choice of clothing. “What’s wrong with wearing black?” and “Stop creating unnecessary controversies,” other viewers commented.
Kim Ji-young has yet to respond to the criticism.
