On the October 31 episode of MBC’s variety show Omniscient Interfering View (Episode 422), sibling duo AKMU members Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun appeared as guests.
The broadcast featured footage from the day of AKMU’s concert. The performance was the result of an entire year of preparation by the staff of “Cemter of Inspiration.” The hosts were impressed not only by the stage production, which brought Lee Chan-hyuk’s imagination to life, but also by the busking performances that continued throughout the venue to keep fans entertained while they waited for the show to begin.
Jun Hyun-moo commented, “The concert has attracted attention because they invite 100 people from underprivileged communities to every performance.”

Lee Su-hyun explained, “We’ve always been interested in this, so we’ve been doing it for quite some time.” Lee Chan-hyuk then shared the personal reason behind the initiative.
“When we lived in Mongolia, there weren’t many opportunities for us to experience culture. As children of missionaries, we couldn’t even attend school. We weren’t in an environment where we could enjoy concerts,” he recalled.
“But the cultural experiences I get to enjoy now are incredibly important in life. That’s why I wanted to find a way to share them with others, no matter what. We do this frequently because we need practice and want to get better at it. I consider every performance part of an ongoing learning process. It’s not something we do just once,” he explained, sharing his personal philosophy.
