On October 29, Jo Jung Suk appeared as a guest on the SBS variety show Maestro Jang, where he shared updates about his two daughters.
Jo Jung Suk revealed that his eldest daughter is seven years old, while his second daughter was born in January this year and is now nine months old. When asked which parent the girls resembled more, he replied, “My eldest daughter looks a lot like me.”
He continued, “When we were expecting our second child, I secretly hoped she would look like Gummy because I wanted to see what that would be like, too.” However, he added, “When our second daughter was born, she turned out to look even more like me than her older sister.” His comment made everyone laugh. Song Eun Yi jokingly responded, “So it’s Jo 3, Gummy 1.”
Jo Jung Suk also expressed his deep affection for his two daughters. Recalling the birth of his first child, he said, “I did almost all the childcare myself for nearly 100 days.” He remembered constantly carrying his daughter around in a baby carrier.

He also shared that when actor Jung Sang Hoon visited their home, he refused the offer to let him hold the baby instead. “I kept holding her for an hour or two, and he scolded me, saying, ‘You’re not going to be able to walk,’” Jo Jung Suk recalled.
The actor also revealed that he enjoys playing pretend games with his daughters at home. “I’m the professional prince in our princess games,” he said, adding that Gummy takes on the role of a clock.
However, some games have been banned because his acting was too convincing. Jo Jung Suk explained, “Monster games and Dracula games are prohibited because they find them too scary.” He added that his daughters would shout, “Daddy, turn back into Daddy! Abracadabra!” prompting more laughter.
Meanwhile, Jo Jung Suk and Gummy married in 2018 and welcomed their first daughter in 2020. They became parents to their second daughter this past January.
