An idol-turned-actor confessed to an experience of being rushed to the emergency room during his idol days, surprising viewers with the fact that he couldn’t save any money despite a hectic schedule.
On the October 9th episode of MBN and Channel S’s Moo No Plan 4, Lee Joon joined Jun Hyun Moo and Kwak Tube on a food trip.
On the show, Lee Joon revealed behind-the-scenes stories from his MBLAQ days. He shared that before his debut as a singer, he appeared in the Hollywood movie Ninja Assassin and explained, “I dropped out of the Korea National University of Arts’ dance department and auditioned for the role.”
Lee Joon also spoke about his time with MBLAQ, saying, “I almost passed out during shoots and was taken to the emergency room,” while managing as many as five schedules in a single day, drawing attention.
Given how busy he was during the MBLAQ days, Kwak Tube asked, “You must have made some money then?”, to which Lee Joon candidly replied, “My family was struggling financially at the time, so all the money I earned went right out.”
Since debuting with MBLAQ, Lee Joon has been active as both a singer and actor and is currently appearing in various variety shows.
